On December 12, during the gala at the National Philharmonic, the results of this year’s AgroBioTop award were announced. The winner was PhD Marta Grech-Baran from the Institute of Biochemistry and Biophysics, Polish Academy of Science in Warsaw. The jury of the award, created by the Biotechnology Committee of the Polish Academy of Science and funded by Bayer, appreciated the winner’s work on identifying the potato resistance gene to one of the most dangerous diseases: infection with the Y virus. The jury emphasized that this achievement has an international potential – both in science and in implementation context – given the huge importance of potato cultivation in Poland and in the world.

Omega Communication was responsible for the comprehensive coordination of the competition, including communication and coordination.
