Invaluable tools for social media managers

Social media manager has been among the most popular and attractive career development paths in recent years. Explosive growth of digital media fuelled the labour market demand for services of people understanding the specifics of the new communication and who can manage it effectively. However, despite popular beliefs, this job is much more about analysing charts and graphs than light-hearted creation of funny pictures. Social media managers are supported in their daily jobs by multiple tools that became available online in recent years. Some are presented below.

  • SoTrender – easier optimisation of working with the social media

    A service that will let you know what topics are currently being discussed by Internet users. BuzzSumo monitors the web for the number of shares of a publication and generates rankings of those most popular. Content may be searched for topics of interest (e.g. biology, medicine).
  • FastTony.es – for more effective Facebook advertising
    FastTony is a proprietary manager for optimising ads published on Facebook. It has a rich portfolio of functionalities allowing campaign automation, better definition of target groups, effectively reaching users with communication and consequently optimising advertising expenses. Photon in iSpot Apple Premium Reseller stores

Press conference in the iSpot Apple Premium Reseller store inaugurated the launch of Photon, the world’s first educational robot which develops together with a child. Interactive and fully integrated with a smartphone and tablet, the robot helps children through play in e.g. logical thinking and basics of programming. The meeting was attended by Marek Zagórski, The Ministry of Administration and Digitization, Marta Gajęcka, Chancellery of the President of the Republic of Poland, Marcin Joka, the author of Photon and the winner of the first edition of the competition Startupy w Pałacu inaugurated by the President Andrzej Duda. The meeting was hosted by Agnieszka Dąbrowska, the coordinator of educational programs in iSpot.

Autodesk Simulation Days. Perfect Machine

Autodesk Simulation Days series has ended – several meetings dedicated to effective use of simulations in the design of machines. Seminaries across Poland (Warsaw, Katowice, Gliwice, Opole, Szczecin, Poznań, Łódź) were organized by Datech together with Autodesk Partners. Participants could learn how to boost effectiveness of design and optimize machine projects thanks to the functions available in Autodesk Inventor, Simulation CFD, Moldflow and other Autodesk tools.

ELGOR integrates opencast mining industry

Machine control, conveyor belts, measurement and diagnostics – these are the main topics of the ELGOR conference combining scientific and technical themes and organized under the patronage of the Ministry of Energy. 12th edition of the event takes place on October 18-20th this year in Kudowa Zdrój. Siemens company is the technology partner of the conference.
Omega Communication is responsible (for the 8th time) for the organization of the event and cooperation with partners – both commercial and institutional.

Young people about challenges in agriculture

100 young agriculture visionaries participated in the Youth Agriculture Summit in Brussels, co-organized by Bayer company. Poland was represented by two delegates – high school student from Gorzów Wielkopolski and entrepreneur from near Lublin. Their applications were chosen from among 1200 submissions coming from 95 countries. During the meeting, young leaders shared their ideas for ensuring appropriate quantity and quality of food for the continuously growing population.
